Voiteq to showcase how voice complements and enhances automation at IntraLogisteX 2019

December 14, 2018

Warehouse automation and robotics have become the buzzwords for 2018 and a popular choice for new and existing warehouse facilities. Visitors to IntraLogisteX 2019 will discover how Voiteq’s portfolio of intelligent voice solutions critically work alongside automation to complement and enhance – rather than being simply ‘another option’.

With increased interest in robotics and automation, along with the hot topic of Brexit increasing labour concerns, new automated technology is seen, by some, as the answer for future success. Voiteq, now part of the international technology group Körber, is addressing these driving forces behind automation, a changing approach to how we construct logistics space, the limitations of current systems and how technologies such as voice, can address them.

At IntraLogisteX 2019, Voiteq will be showcasing their solutions deployed in some of the world’s busiest Distribution Centres. Visitors to Voiteq’s stand 312 will discover live demonstrations that will showcase Voiteq’s expertise of warehouse logistics via their VoiceMan Warehouse Execution System (WES) and Auto-ID systems, enabling smoother running and increased productivity in the warehouse.

Additionally, they will see VoiceMan Data Analysis as an enterprise-grade application that converts large volumes of operational data into easy to understand, actionable insights and introduces powerful predictive analytics, never before seen in the industry. They will also have the chance to see CLASS Visualiser for VoiceMan. Developed in collaboration with its sister company Cirrus Logistics, Visualiser integrates into VoiceMan products and gives real-time 2D and 3D views of voice associates.

Adopting these technologies with a quality voice solution, enables operations to utilise near real-time data and analysis, providing crucial visibility for managing resources efficiently, driving cost savings and operator comfort and safety, as well as improved customer service.

Matt Gregory, Sales Director at Voiteq UK, said: “With the growth of e-commerce, operations are being challenged with increasing expectations from customers, while also facing internal demands to ensure increased productivity and accuracy. What is important, is to understand the best way voice technology can be integrated along with automation to solve these challenges and deliver a strong ROI for the future.”

Held at the Ricoh Arena in Coventry, UK, from 26 – 27 February 2019, IntraLogisteX is a two-day exhibition offering a comprehensive platform for visitors to explore the latest technologies available to transform operations and offering the power to stay one step ahead of competitors. As the UK’s fastest growing annual exhibition for the intralogistics industry, it offers everything industry professionals need to know for improving productivity, safety, maximising space and cutting costs.

“IntraLogisteX is an important platform for the UK supply chain, bringing together a wide range of industry experts”, Gregory added. “We’re looking forward to meeting with customers and industry experts to share our knowledge and expertise.”

Voiteq has over 18 years’ experience of voice-directed solutions across all warehouse processes and extending into retail stores and inspection markets – improving business operations, enhancing user experience and supporting industry growth.
