Voiteq hosts its 4th annual Voice User Group

Unique event draws increased delegate numbers and showcases more voice solutions
Voiteq the leaders in Voice-Directed Work solutions, held its fourth annual Voice User Group in June. Record breaking numbers customers, prospects, partners and industry heads came together to network and discuss the future of voice-directed work in the warehouse and beyond.
Hosted at Ardencote Manor in Warwickshire, the event was reflective of the industry with both delegate and user numbers growing year-on-year. Customers and prospects from a wide range of vertical markets attended the event including: food service, retail, electronics and spare parts, wholesale distribution, Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG), automotive and speciality retail. Attendees were able to learn from user experiences from Kellogg’s, Connect Distribution, Bidvest 3663 and NISA.
Delegates heard about new ways of using Voice solutions across the warehouse and how Voiteq’s VoiceMan Execution System is making a real difference in the visibility and management of customers’ supply chain operations. In addition, delegates were able to see first-hand innovative applications of Vocollect Voice combined with other technologies such as Screen-to-Voice, volumetric cubing and the Cloud.
The demonstration room was a hub of new applications and solutions from not only Voiteq with its VoiceMan StockMoves Module, TDC Screen-to-Voice application from its recent acquisition of French company Teknix, Voice in the Cloud, InfoCentre Dashboards and tablet based user interfaces but also from Vocollect, Cubiscan, Cirrus Logistics and Apprise Consulting.
Industry authority on the Supply Chain and director at Apprise Consulting, Gwynne Richards, shared his insights and research on how to motivate and drive performance within the warehouse by applying SMART KPI methodologies. “Voiteq has a lot of experience in the Voice industry and it was great to hear how they are shaping warehousing solutions and how Voice is working in a multitude of supply chain operations,” commented Richards. “It was a pleasure to be a part of their user group and meet so many happy customers.”
